UPCOMING EVENTS

March 21 — At noon, Karen will be giving a talk called "Potholes and Speedbumps: The Road to Publication"  at the Mystery Writers of America Houston Chapter.  She will then repair to one of her favorite bookstores, Murder by the Book for a signing at 3:30.  Hope to see you there!

March 30 - April 20 — If you've always wanted to write a mystery but haven't known where to start, Karen will be teaching Writing the Mystery Novel at U.T. Informal classes.  Several students have gone on complete their first mysteries after taking this four-week class; and Karen will even share her famous Book Map technique!

June 19-20 — Karen will be presenting the workshop "Cooking up Characters" and moderating a panel at the MWA-SW regional conference in Dallas.  There may be signings to come... check back soon!
