Inkspot

I realized today (not incidentally because it was my turn to post) that I neglected to tell everyone about Inkspot, a new blog composed of Midnight Ink authors (and including fellow cozy chick JB Stanley, who may actually have more books to write than me in the next year).

So for today’s post, simply click here.

Cheers, and hope your days went well. My word count, in case you were wondering, was nonexistent. But I needed a day off. After all, I get to do taxes this weekend! Can’t wait…

    Karen,
I think the reason we have bad dreams is that it’s such a wonderful relief to wake up! When you have happy dreams (or in your case, dreams of men in kilts…), waking up is such a disappointment.
By the way, when I got out of my car today, I decided to straighten it up a bit in case someone walking along “glanced” inside..Like most of your other blogger friends, I have to admit I’m not a neatnik– but I do so try to be…At least now that I don’t have any little ones, the only thing that “spills” is usually the dirt from the bags of garden soil that I’m always picking up at the nurseries…
Glad you had a day off from writing. You deserve it.
    Judy

  2. Karen- You can have the hunky guy in the kilt. However, if he’s 6′ 4″ with red hair and answers to the name ‘Jamie’, you’re gonna have to back off sister cuz he’s mine!! Speaking of kilts, someday we have to go to that Scottish Hooters near Barnes & Noble in Round Rock, but we must wear disguises. I’m very curious to see what the heck that place is about. I know I haven’t been around in a while, I’m working two garage sale jobs at once and am exhausted! Know anyone who wants to buy a really nice used boat for $3100???? Your tired friend, Melissa

  3. Judy,

The problem was, once I woke up, I had to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!

No fleas, though. Not that I saw, anyway.

And the car solution, by the way?

    Tinted windows! 🙂

(And I’m a gardener, too, so I always have mulch bits everywhere. And once made the mistake of leaving a few bags of turkey compost in the back for a day or two… ick.)

And I took TWO days off from writing! What a renegade I am…

    Happy Easter, Judy!

  4. Melissa,

    How was Wicked?

And I call dibs on Jamie, btw. We just have to figure out how to get rid of Claire.

And I’ll join you at the Kilt sometime… we’ll have to dig into my giant bottle of Irish Cream first, though. And wigs. Definitely wigs.

Good luck with the garages — and be sure to get some rest. I’ll bet they look fabulous when they’re done. And as for the boat, I’ll let you know… but alas, I doubt it. 🙂

Glad to see you again (if only virtually)… hope Easter’s great!
